Jimmy Clayton is the President and CEO of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. Jimmy has more than 15 years of experience in advocacy and lobbying, having held a variety of roles with the Illinois REALTORS. Over the course of his career, he has built strong relationships with policymakers and stakeholders across Illinois.
Clayton pairs big picture thinking with a keen attention to detail, allowing him to craft thoughtful, effective strategies that deliver meaningful outcomes. His ability to generate innovative ideas while maintaining focus on execution has made him a trusted voice within the industry.
Outside of his professional work, Jimmy resides in Springfield with his wife and their two young children.
